From concept to commisioning.

Systems are designed around how your facility runs, how it will expand, and how it must perform under load.

Every CTS project begins with a detailed evaluation of the site, the process, and the operational risks. This stage focuses on understanding how temperature-controlled environments are actually used day to day, including access patterns, loading cycles, redundancy expectations, and failure tolerance

CTS engineers assess thermal loads, spatial constraints, energy demand, and future growth plans before any system configuration is agreed. Compliance requirements, inspection regimes, and internal quality standards are reviewed early so they are designed in, not added later

This approach avoids systems that look correct on paper but struggle in live operation.

System design for specialist applications

Non-standard systems for applications where precision, resilience, and control matter. Each system design is developed to deliver consistent performance while remaining serviceable, accessible, and efficient over its full operating life.

Design decisions account for duty and standby requirements, system segregation, alarm handling, monitoring, and maintenance access. Integration with existing plant, controls, and building management systems is considered as part of the design process, not as an afterthought.

The result is a system that supports your process instead of constraining it.

Managed installation

CTS manages installation as a controlled engineering process rather than a simple build exercise. Project management covers programme planning, sequencing, contractor coordination, and technical oversight from start to finish.

Installations are planned to minimise disruption to live environments and to protect ongoing operations. Health and safety, quality control, and staged inspections are managed throughout the programme so issues are resolved early and transparently.

You work with a single technical lead who remains accountable through every phase.

Commissioning and project handover

Commissioning is treated as a critical performance stage, not a final formality. CTS coordinates commissioning to confirm that systems operate as designed under real operating loads and conditions.

Functional testing, system proving, and documentation are completed in line with regulated environment expectations. Handover includes clear operating parameters, escalation routes, and technical records that support audits and internal governance.

This gives operational teams confidence from day one.

Temperature mapping and performance verification

CTS provides temperature mapping services to validate system performance across defined operating conditions. Mapping is planned around how spaces are used, not around idealised empty-room scenarios.

Data is captured, analysed, and reported to highlight stable zones, potential risk areas, and long-term performance trends. This supports compliance, inspection readiness, and internal quality assurance processes.

Probe calibration and system accuracy control

Accurate measurement underpins compliance and product protection. CTS carries out probe calibration and system accuracy checks across operating ranges to confirm that displayed data reflects reality.

Calibration programmes can be scheduled as part of ongoing support, with traceable records maintained for audit and review purposes. This removes uncertainty around data integrity and system reporting.

Monitoring, running cost visibility, and maintenance insight

CTS designs systems that can be monitored, understood, and optimised over time. Performance data is used to identify inefficiencies, emerging faults, and opportunities to reduce energy consumption without compromising control.

This data-led approach supports planned maintenance rather than reactive call-outs, helping to extend system life and control operating costs.

Training and operational support

We provide structured training for client teams to support confident day-to-day operation of installed systems. Training covers system use, basic fault awareness, and operational best practice aligned to your processes.

CTS is an authorised distributor for leading specialist and industrial manufacturers, including Grasso and Copeland for industrial compressors and chillers, Kuba and Searle for specialist evaporators, Adaptive and Electronic Cooling Systems for monitoring and control, Rhoss for HVAC and DX chillers, and Arctiko for medical and laboratory cabinets.

By combining proven equipment with disciplined engineering practice, we deliver turnkey systems that integrate seamlessly with multi-discipline contractors. Projects are delivered within agreed budgets and programmes, without compromising performance, safety, or compliance.
